Education and Experience:

  • · Journeyman Certification or equivalent designation and or related experience greater than 5 years
  • · High School diploma or equivalent
  • · Literate in the English language with reading and writing competency
  • · Proficient with computer awareness & use
  • · Remote Camp experience is an asset & preferred
  • · Awareness & ability to operate all industrial kitchen equipment (incl. grills, ovens, fryers, mixers, etc.)

Personal Profile:

  • · Physically fit and able to handle lifting up to 50lbs, bending and standing for extended periods of time
  • · Professional client & co-worker relations
  • · Strong leadership with patience and a desire to lead

Certification Requirements:

  • · Journeyman Cook designation or equivalent designation and or related experience greater than 5 years
  • · Valid Provincially recognized Advanced Food Safe
  • · WHMIS
  • · First Aid, Standard (2 day course)
  • · Skill specific training is an asset
