Education and Experience:
- · Journeyman Certification or equivalent designation and or related experience greater than 5 years
- · High School diploma or equivalent
- · Literate in the English language with reading and writing competency
- · Proficient with computer awareness & use
- · Remote Camp experience is an asset & preferred
- · Awareness & ability to operate all industrial kitchen equipment (incl. grills, ovens, fryers, mixers, etc.)
Personal Profile:
- · Physically fit and able to handle lifting up to 50lbs, bending and standing for extended periods of time
- · Professional client & co-worker relations
- · Strong leadership with patience and a desire to lead
Certification Requirements:
- · Journeyman Cook designation or equivalent designation and or related experience greater than 5 years
- · Valid Provincially recognized Advanced Food Safe
- · WHMIS
- · First Aid, Standard (2 day course)
- · Skill specific training is an asset
